On 24th July 1997, I got out from Subang Jaya Airport in the morning with apprehension about working in a new company, living in a new country and leading a life in foreign land away from my home. Little did I know that I will love this country so much that I will spend 25 years here and will continue to look forward to more and more! Me and my family love Malaysia, the country, climate, food, fun, rains, traffic jams, beaches, temples and the people. This has been the place to have spent best 25 years of our life so far! My daughters grew up here and are well settled now. I spent the entire 25 years here except for a small 1.3 years stint in Singapore. The stay has, so far, been the most satisfying in all aspects. Thanks to all our friends without whom this journey would not have been so much joy and fun. We have a social life which has no parallel anywhere. Thanks also to my company Pacific Inter-Link Sdn Bhd where I learned to enjoy my work by learning and trying new things. PIL gave me opportunity to realize my potential and to grow both personally and professionally! I can continue to write so many beautiful things about this wonderful country and people but need to stop now. More later.
