On this auspicious day of Diwali, I want to express my gratitude and appreciation for The Economic Club of Chicago for supporting and providing us a platform to celebrate #diversity and #culture, with a joyous #Diwali celebration. Olivia Bedi, thank you for leading this initiative, and for being an amazing co-host for our inaugural #ECC Diwali Member Exchange! Special thanks to Consul General of India at Chicago, Mr. Somnath Ghosh, for gracing us with his presence, and for highlighting the importance of Diwali in Indian culture. In addition to celebrating with a loving group of friends, we also discussed plans to collaborate and share details about the nonprofits that we support, and board/committee opportunities with those nonprofits. It was a perfect way to start the #SeasonofGiving! Happy Diwali 🪔
