A software won‘t manage your projects… True! Projects are still managed by people. Yet, I am convinced that an effective tool in the hands of a good project manager can be essential to unlock powerful collaboration and to conquer complexity. While setting up a PMO for PALFINGER AG Global Operations, the question about the right software application remained one of the most dominant topics over the past 3,5 years I spent in this role. My initial choice fot Smartsheet as the go-to application for project and project portfolio management finally turned out to become the global standard tool for the entire Palfinger Group. But why❓❓ 🙋🏻‍♂️ Low Barrier Access While at the first glance it looks and feels like „everyones favorite“ MS Excel, it takes collaboration to the next level with simple and intuitive automation and comminication workflows, views filtered to specfic users and a variety of pre-defined template set-ups. 🗽Individualization, without coding Real scalability is unlocked through the high level of adjustability while still obtaining continious data consistency across departments - all without a need for source coding the application. A real game changer for enterprises with yet a low level of maturity in project management standardization. 💪🏼Strong Partnership Thank you to our key-account manager Rene Bosiacki for being a strong and reliable sparring partner.
