🆕 Exciting News: Our Research is Now Published by Springer Nature! 🚀 I am pleased to announce that our full-text research, originally presented at the AUTEX 2025 conference in the Institute of Textile Machinery and High Performance Material Technology (ITM) at TU Dresden, has been officially published as a book chapter in "Advances in the Textile and Clothing Research." Our study, "Advanced Polyamide 6/ Branched Carbon Nanotube Composites for Melt-Spinning of Bicomponent Filaments: Electrical Conductivity and Strain Characteristics," focuses on the development of high-performance conductive bicomponent fibers. 💡 Key Highlights of the Research: ✅ Successfully integrated branched carbon nanotubes (bCNTs) and carbon black into a PA6 matrix. ✅Achieved a stable production window for fibers with a 39.1% conductive core fraction. ✅Optimized fibers demonstrate promising electrical resistivity and mechanical strength, paving the way for the next generation of smart textiles and wearable electronics. This achievement is a result of a fruitful international collaboration. I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to my esteemed co-authors from the Leibniz Institute for Polymer Research Dresden (IPF), Dr. Beate Krause and Ines Kuehnert, for their invaluable expertise and partnership throughout this journey. Working together on these advanced composite systems remains an inspiring experience. 🔗 You can access the full chapter here: https://lnkd.in/dSBDUjsi #AUTEX #AUTEX2025 #TextileEngineering #SmartTextiles #Nanotechnology #ConductiveFibers #IPFDresden #AcademicCollaboration #SpringerNature #MaterialScience #Innovation Bartın Üniversitesi (BARÜ)
