It's National Technician Appreciation Week. If you have ever sat broken down on the shoulder of a highway, you know who you are really waiting on. Not the dispatcher, not the app, not the call center. The technician. The person who shows up, finds the problem, and gets the truck rolling again. That work happens at the worst hours, in the worst weather, with a driver and a full load counting on them. Most people never see any of it. We do. Swipe through. We put a few things together on what these folks carry for the rest of us. Of course, no tech gets there alone. Behind a lot of those roadside saves is a dispatcher who picked up at 2am and a call center that found the right tech and got them moving. They are part of every save too. To every technician keeping fleets on the road, and to the dispatchers and call centers who help get them there, this week and every week, thank you.
