Kicking off this week's #MygateSpotlight with Avinash Maharana, whose journey embodies growth and grit - for Avinash, the journey at Mygate began with the Bangalore hyperlocal team. Over time, his role has evolved significantly, from managing tier 2 city accounts to now leading a pod within the Central Brand team focused on large accounts. Today, he works as Zonal Manager with a team of five, driving efforts to close high-value deals and onboard large clients onto Mygate’s platform. In his role, what stands out most is the thrill of closing deals; especially large accounts that require time, persistence, and a thoughtful approach. He also values the early exposure to engaging with diverse stakeholders across industries, and the opportunity to continuously learn from these interactions and apply those insights both professionally and personally. A key milestone in his journey has been stepping into a leadership role early on. Being entrusted with managing a team and handling accounts that demand patience and maturity in a fast-paced, month-on-month sales environment is something he takes particular pride in.
