After supporting many colleagues to invest in lifelong learning, I decided in 2025 to invest time and energy to follow the Executive Master in Cybersecurity Management at Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, an enriching journey that strengthened my understanding of cybersecurity. In every project, we assess risks. Today, cyber risk is increasingly among the most critical ones. My objectives were threefold: 🔐 Contribute to strengthen SFPIM’s resilience against cyber threats 📊 Improve cyber risk analysis as part of investment and strategic decisions 📚 Enrich my own background with cybersecurity management knowledge I have now a clear conviction : 👉 Cybersecurity is no longer just a technical topic. It is a also a matter of governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC). My previous experience helped me connect these dots and better understand how organizations can define rules, implement processes, and drive change to address cyber risks. I am not a cybersecurity expert—and I don’t claim to be. But this is an important first step. I am more aware and committed to maintaining continuous attention to cyber threats and solutions. I also feel better prepared to act as a responsible board member or manager when facing cyber challenges 🚀. Beyond the content, this journey was made truly special by: 🎓 Inspiring professors with deep field expertise 🤝 Rich exchanges with classmates during business case exercises Many thanks to all of them. These interactions clearly showed that cooperation and knowledge sharing are essential to face today’s cyber challenges. Lifelong learning is not a slogan—it’s a responsibility.
