Young Farmer Forum🚜🙌🏻 We’re proud to partner with Kepak Group to launch a new Young Farmer Forum in conjunction with Mountbellew Agricultural College and Bord Bia - The Irish Food Board. The initiative prioritises supporting young beef and lamb farmers to build practical skills, gain industry experience and develop sustainable, future-focused businesses.  Aoife Mahony, a past and current participant in the Young Farmer Forum, highlighted its impact: "I really enjoyed the programme and found it hugely beneficial, particularly the range of experiences and the opportunities to engage directly with other farmers, industry stakeholders and policymakers.” Through SuperValu, Centra and Musgrave Marketplace, we see first-hand how Irish beef and lamb move from farm, through processing and to our supermarket shelves and into wholesale and foodservice. It’s a journey that comes to life every day at our in-store butcher counters – built on quality, trust and the expertise of Irish farmers, processors and retail teams working together. This partnership with Kepak is about strengthening that end-to-end supply chain, while also ensuring we continue to listen and learn from farmers, whose knowledge and innovation have sustained the sector for generations and will be central to its future.  Above all, this partnership goes beyond food supply. We know that when local farming thrives, it supports jobs, local economies and the vibrancy of communities nationwide. That connection between agriculture and community sits at the heart of our stores, and our independent SuperValu and Centra retailers see that impact every day in the towns and villages they serve.
