✨ SUPERVALU RETURNS AS SPONSOR OF THE GAA FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP AND LAUNCHES ‘REAL NOURISHMENT’ CAMPAIGN TO IMPROVE NUTRITION CONFIDENCE Now in its 16th consecutive year as a proud sponsor, SuperValu this week launched its 2026 GAA All-Ireland Senior Football Championship campaign at Croke Park.    The launch took place in Croke Park and was supported by 2025 Footballer of the Year David Clifford, alongside senior intercounty players Luke Fahy (Cork), Emma Cleary (Cork), Ryan O’Donoghue (Mayo) and Eoghan Frayne (Meath). The players were also joined by junior GAA enthusiasts, including Kate Garvey and pupils from Scoil Mhuire Gan Smál, Inchicore, Dublin; Conor Burke, Amelia Kucharczk, Lee McNamara and Tyler Barden.   The launch was supported by new research among Irish parents and intercounty players, highlighting a strong demand for clearer, more accessible nutrition advice. SuperValu’s Real Nourishment campaign aims to help players and families navigate the often confusing world of sports nutrition, offering practical, everyday guidance to support performance both on and off the pitch.     To help cut through that noise, we’re delighted to welcome  Sinead O'Donovan RD as our new SuperValu Health & Wellness Brand Ambassador. As a registered dietitian and nutritionist, Sinéad brings expert advice and a practical, real‑world approach to everyday nutrition. Through her partnership with SuperValu, she will share simple, easy‑to‑follow advice and meal ideas that support busy family life and training schedules, helping players and parents fuel performance and support confidence at every level of the game. As part of this years campaign, four GAA clubs will have the chance to win a season of professional nutritionist support, alongside €1,000 to spend in their local SuperValu store. Click here to enter for your club: https://lnkd.in/dR58_d9v Through our continued partnership with the GAA, we’re proud to play our part in building healthier habits, stronger communities and an exciting Championship season ahead.
