✨SuperValu Renews partnership with AsIAm - Ireland’s Autism Charity SuperValu is delighted to announce that it has renewed its partnership with AsIAm - Ireland’s Autism Charity, Ireland's Autism Charity, coinciding with Autism Awareness Month this April. Customers will once again have the option to donate the proceeds of their returns through Ireland's Deposit Return Scheme (DRS) until May 31st 2026. When returning cans and bottles in-store, SuperValu shoppers can choose to direct their refund to AsIAm, helping to support vital autism services nationwide. Last year, SuperValu customers raised €125,000 for AsIAm through the scheme, demonstrating the generosity of shoppers and the potential impact of small everyday actions. The campaign will run across SuperValu’s nationwide network, with visibility on more than 362 deposit return machines in 220 stores. This reach underscores the scale of the initiative and the opportunity for customers to support the charity in communities right across Ireland. Adam Harris, CEO of AsIAm - Ireland’s Autism Charity commented, ''We are so grateful to SuperValu and all who shop there for once again getting behind AsIAm, Ireland's Autism Charity through partnering on the deposit return scheme. In the last 12 months, customers have raised over €125,000 to support Autistic people to have the same chance to live, learn, work and play in communities across Ireland. The funding raised through this initiative will enable us to sustain and grow the free supports we offer to Autistic children and adults across the country including our post-diagnosis support programmes and social connection activities. By donating your deposit for used plastic bottles and cans, you can help break down barriers for Autistic people in your community" Dan Curtin Robbie Coyle Ross Kerrigan Julie Dorel Luke Hanlon CDir Ciara O'Connor Adam Harris Liz Murray Rosemary Haughey Maighread Cremin Yvonne O'Brien
