✨SuperValu has partnered with Belong To – LGBTQ+ Youth Ireland for a nationwide Deposit Return Scheme (DRS) initiative. From June 19th to August 31st customers can donate their DRS refunds at local SuperValu stores to support life-saving services for LGBTQ+ young people and their families. At SuperValu and Musgrave, supporting the communities we serve is at the heart of everything we do. We are incredibly proud to announce our new charity partnership with Belong To – LGBTQ+ Youth Ireland across Ireland! From today we are inviting our customers nationwide to make a real difference. When returning your empty bottles and cans through the Deposit Return Scheme (DRS) at participating SuperValu stores, you now have the easy yet meaningful option to donate your refund directly to Belong To.  Since the launch of the DRS in February 2024, our amazing customers have helped recycle over 600 million containers. This highlights how small, everyday actions can create a massive impact. Funds raised through this initiative will allow Belong To continue delivering essential, life-saving services, including: Family Support Service for parents and carers of LGBTQ+ youth Crisis counselling for at-risk young people, in partnership with Pieta Education programmes fostering inclusive, welcoming environments Youth groups that provide safe spaces and supportive communities all year round.
