We were proud to welcome members of the Irish Centre for Business Excellence (ICBE) to Musgrave for a benchmarking visit focused on our work in Early Careers, Talent Management, and AI. ICBE’s benchmarking visits offer a unique opportunity to share best practices and spark innovation across Irish industry. This session showcased how Musgrave is building a diverse, future-ready talent pipeline while empowering colleagues with the skills to perform and transform. 🧭Early Careers Strategy: Siobháin Scanlon outlined our strategic vision and ecosystem—Graduate Programme, Internship Programme, and GenRep (Youth Board)—all supported by mentoring, L&D, leadership exposure and real business projects. 💡The Musgrave Institute: Orla Farrell introduced our brand for learning and development, powered by a digital platform that connects colleagues to experiential learning, formal programmes, and on-demand resources. 🔍Programme Design & Selection: We gave an overview of our inclusive, competency-based approach to graduate selection, including structured assessments and bias mitigation. 🎤 Former programme participants—Denise Harrington, Cian Ryan, and Fiona O'Connor—shared inspiring stories of stretch assignments, leadership exposure and career mobility. 🤖 AI at Musgrave: Allan J Russell, shared how we’re embedding AI and automation to drive efficiency, innovation and colleague empowerment. From automation bots to responsible AI policies and tools like Microsoft Copilot, our journey is supported by robust governance and ongoing investment in ethical use and training. 👏 A huge thank you to the Kilcock team for hosting, and to our panellists and presenters for making the visit a success.
