Recently, our colleague Keith Fitzgerald spent time with the Belvedere Youth Club, sharing his own personal story and opening up honest conversations about work, opportunity and career paths. Keith spoke to the group about: 🔵Growing up on a council estate and the realities many young people face 🔵What it’s really like to work in retail 🔵Work opportunities with SuperValu and Musgrave, including what students can expect in-store 🔵Longer-term career paths – from apprenticeships and specialist roles to progression over time 🔵Simple, practical CV tips to help them take their first steps into work What made this session especially powerful was Keith’s authenticity. Having recently celebrated 20 years’ service in Musgrave, he shared his own personal journey – showing that careers aren’t always linear, and that long-term success is built through effort, learning and support.
