There’s still time to have your say on the future of the Murray-Darling Basin. We’ve already received more than 600 submissions to the Basin Plan Review and are expecting hundreds more as our consultation period enters its final days. Since the public consultation opened, we’ve engaged with more than 2,700 participants in interactions across the Basin. We’re hearing a wide range of views from different communities and that’s exactly what we need. Submissions will inform recommendations to Basin Governments on how the Basin Plan can be improved to respond to emerging challenges, including climate variability and changing water needs.
