"I know this will work." Maybe. But how do we know? One of the most powerful questions in any organization is also one of the simplest: "What evidence do we have?" The third pillar of SOSO culture is Science. And no, this isn't about laboratories or academic research. It's about mindset. A willingness to test assumptions instead of defending them. To follow evidence rather than hierarchy. To be curious enough to discover we might be wrong. We all have biases. We all make assumptions. We all tend to see information that confirms what we already believe. Organizations are no different. That's why scientific thinking matters. Instead of asking: "Who is right?" Science asks: "What can we learn?" Instead of defending ideas, it tests them. Instead of protecting opinions, it seeks evidence. This principle is particularly important in the age of AI. Data can help us make better decisions. But only if we are willing to challenge our assumptions and follow what the evidence tells us. Even when it's uncomfortable.
