Congratulations to Murdoch Children’s Research Institute (MCRI) Dr Anna Price who has secured a $1.5 million National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Partnership Project Grant for her health equity research.     The funding will help Dr Price evaluate the expansion of the Healthier Wealthier Families (HWF) initiative in Queensland under the Putting Queensland Kids First plan.     HWF links child and family health services with community-based financial counselling — supporting families to navigate rising living costs, access entitlements and manage financial pressures when they need it most.      Delivered in partnership with Queensland Health, UnitingCare Queensland, ARACY, Western Sydney University and Deakin University, with philanthropic support from the Paul Ramsay Foundation and The Ian Potter Foundation, the initiative reflects the power of collaboration in tackling the cost-of-living crisis for families.    Read more: https://direc.to/oCEQ    #MCRIresearch #ChildHealth #HealthEquity #FamilyHealth #NHMRC
