๐Ÿ“œ๐ŸŒฑ How did people live sustainably before sustainability became a global concern? The exhibition "๐’๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐‡๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐’๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ข๐ง๐š๐›๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ" will run from the 19th June until 27th September. It is hosted by Archivio di Stato Firenze in Florence, in close collaboration with the Historical Archives of the European Union. The exhibition has been developed by the Sustainable Archives and Greener Approaches (SAGA) project of which Munster Technological University is a partner represented by the Dept. of Technology Enhanced Learning at MTU and the Clean Technology Centre, MTU It explores centuries of practices that helped individuals and communities survive and thrive without exhausting the resources they depended on. It features contributions from 19 archives across 5 countries that illustrate the long history of sustainability from the Middle Ages to the twentieth century. Maps, contracts, inventories, manuals, and everyday records reveal how Europeans managed their dependence on land, water, animals, and energy.
