Grand opening of Terminal 1 Pier on April 13 The trial operations for our new Terminal 1 Pier are nearing completion. With 360 meters in length, around 95,000 m² of space, and capacity for up to six million passengers per year, the Pier is one of Bavaria’s largest current infrastructure projects. Conducted together with our subsidiary Munich Airport International, the trial phase with over 1,500 participants confirmed stable processes and high operational readiness. In the video, Philipp von Gablenz reflects on a successful trial period. We are now entering the final preparations ahead of the official opening ceremony on April 13 and the start of passenger operations on April 21.
