🤗💫 #Meet Jan-Hendrik Winkler, Consultant, an aviation professional with a passion for complex operations and projects that make a real impact. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱?  Airports have been a constant part of my professional life. My journey into aviation began in 2016, when I started studying Aeronautical Engineering and Aviation Logistics. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to work at several airports, including BER, HAM and, of course, MUC. In 2020, I worked on the client side of the BER ORAT project before joining Munich Airport International in 2021. At MAI, I’ve been involved in a variety of exciting and challenging projects – from gaining deep insights into the Saudi Arabian airport ecosystem through the MATARAT Operations Management Office project to supporting the recent ORAT delivery for Munich Airport’s new Terminal 1 Pier. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗷𝗼𝗯?   The variety of challenges, the fast‑paced environment, and collaborating with highly capable teams to deliver work that truly makes an impact. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗷𝗼𝗯 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁?   Working on different projects with cross-functional teams, getting to know diverse organizations, adapting to their specific needs, and diving deep into multiple operational areas. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀?  Flexible. Challenging. Dynamic. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗔𝗜?  The wide variety of projects and the high level of trust management places in young colleagues, enabling them to take on significant responsibilities early on. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸? By going for a run whenever possible – and enjoying a game or two of chess to keep the gears turning. #shapingthefutureofaviation #meet
