The $0 Perfect Product Paradox An ugly MVP with paying customers is a business. A perfect product nobody wants is worth $0. Last week, a founder DM'd me: "I need a senior developer, a designer, and 6 months to build this." I asked one question: "How do you know people will pay for it?" Silence. This is the real problem. What founders think they need: Perfect tech stack Beautiful brand identity Feature complete product Technical co founder $100K+ budget What they actually need: Landing page (2 days) One core feature (1 week) Payment integration (2 days) 10 honest users (ongoing) I'm not saying don't build quality. I'm saying validate first. The 2 week reality check: Get 3 people to pay you $50. Then invest in perfection. Because validation beats assumptions every single time. That's why Validate First.
