🏙️ How can cities and businesses join forces to build climate-friendly, equitable food systems? 🌱 This question was at the heart of the session “C40 Good Food for Healthy Cities Guide”, organized as part of the #MUFPPGlobalForum 2025 by C40 Cities and the Laudes Foundation 💡 C40 Cities presented key findings from the Good Food for Healthy Cities guide, designed to help cities engage businesses and accelerate the shift to more sustainable urban food systems. In addition, early findings from a joint study by C40 and Svarascape, titled “Quantifying the impact of city-business alliances on food system GHG emissions and public health”, were presented, highlighting the New York City pilot case. 🤝🏻 Experiences from New York, São Paulo, London, and Austin showed that cooperation between public and private sectors is key to achieving healthier diets, lower emissions, and resilient local economies. The session emphasized that neither cities nor businesses can transform food systems alone - only through sustained collaboration can they drive climate action, improve diets, and strengthen local economies. ➡️ Read more about the session and findings! https://lnkd.in/d4UeyZ-8 Prefeitura de São Paulo Nico Muzi Annelies Withofs Stefania Amato Shambhavi Gupta Rashi Sharma SvaraScape Edwin Marty Katie Rowberry ReLondon Università degli Studi di Milano
