From the classroom to the clinic, every lesson reminds me why I chose optometry. 👁️ When I first began studying optometry, I thought eye care was mainly about prescribing glasses. The more I learn, the more I realize how much the eyes can reveal about a person's overall health. One moment that continues to amaze me is learning that the retina is the only place in the body where blood vessels can be observed directly without surgery. It's incredible how a comprehensive eye examination can provide valuable insights beyond vision alone. As an optometry student, every practical session challenges me to improve my skills, think critically, and appreciate the responsibility that comes with protecting people's sight. I'm still learning, still growing, and looking forward to the day I can make a meaningful difference in the lives of my future patients.
