After nearly 15 years at two great companies, I'm jumping back into a startup. I've always gravitated toward multi-sided, real-time networks — spot markets that bring transparency and liquidity to abstract, highly regulated industries. First it was international telecom bandwidth. Then interstate trucking capacity. Then live media and ad insertion. Now I'm tackling the legal cannabis industry. I'm joining forces with an incredible cofounder, John Bryant, to build Marjin. Marjin aspires to be the first real-time wholesale marketplace for licensees in the legal cannabis industry.
