Singapore has been ranked top position in the International Institute for Management Development World Competitiveness Yearbook 2026, moving up from second place last year.   We continued to perform well in areas such as International Trade, Productivity & Efficiency, and Technological Infrastructure. Notably, Singapore also rose to the top position in Business Efficiency this year.   The Government will study the IMD report closely and continue working with our stakeholders to strengthen Singapore’s position as a trusted and competitive business hub. Together, we will seize new opportunities and build a vibrant and thriving economy for our people.
