#ICYMI Singapore is preparing to undertake an assessment known as the Integrated Nuclear Infrastructure Review (INIR) Phase 1 Mission in 2027, to see if Singapore is ready to make an informed decision on nuclear energy deployment.     This assessment is based on an internationally recognised framework by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).    This review does not signal a commitment to adopting nuclear power. Any decision to deploy nuclear energy will be carefully considered, taking into account Singapore’s unique context and our future energy needs.
