England Traffic Advisory – A1 Closure & M1 Police Operation 🕐 Tuesday, 23 June 2026 | Afternoon Update Drivers, fleet managers, and logistics operators should expect delays across major motorway and trunk-road routes due to closures, breakdowns, police activity, a load spillage, and congestion. 🔴 Major Disruptions ▪️ A1 northbound between A151 and A607 – All lanes closed due to a broken-down vehicle. Expected to clear between 14:30 and 14:45. ▪️ M1 northbound J15–J15A – Police reconstruction has closed the hard shoulder and lanes 1 and 2. Delays of around 15 minutes are reported, with normal traffic expected by 16:00. ▪️ M1 J15A northbound exit – Exit slip fully closed for police reconstruction until approximately 15:15. ▪️ A1(M) northbound J46–J47 – Lane 1 and the hard shoulder closed for a tyre change. Expected to clear by 14:00. ▪️ M62 eastbound J26–J27 – Lane 1 and the hard shoulder closed due to a broken-down vehicle. Expected to clear by 14:15. ▪️ M25 anti-clockwise J3–J2 – Lane 1 closed due to a load spillage.
