As Global Pride Month comes to a close, we are sharing highlights from our Rainbow Alliance Spotlight Month and the conversations and learning moments that reinforced the importance of creating a workplace where people feel valued and included. Rainbow Alliance is MSD’s employee community focused on fostering inclusion and belonging for LGBTQ+ colleagues and allies. One of the highlights was our event called Belonging is Built, which focused on how inclusion shows up in everyday actions. Leaders from HR and Rainbow Alliance shared practical perspectives on creating safe spaces and supporting employee wellbeing, followed by an interactive workshop where participants explored what allyship looks like in practice and how to turn awareness into action. The conversation connected these themes with MSD’s longstanding commitment to the fight against HIV, including efforts around awareness, education and stigma reduction.
