Our final keynote is the amazing Prof. Gloria Sheynkman (University of Virginia): "From Long Reads to Proteoforms: Integrating Transcriptomics and Proteomics for Isoform Discovery." A fitting way to end the day. We've travelled from benchmarking and splice junctions through single-cell isoforms and the noncanonical proteome, and Gloria brings it full circle: connecting the transcript isoforms we can now read to the proteoforms they actually produce.
