Project cargo on display at Breakbulk Europe 2026 ⚓🚆💛 From 16-18 June, MSC will be in Rotterdam for Breakbulk Europe, bringing one of our recent rail transport operations from Antwerp to Alexandria to life. The project involved the shipment of nine railcars, each weighing up to 40 tonnes and measuring 22 metres in length, destined for Cairo’s expanding metro network. It’s part of a larger operation that will move 495 railcars between 2025 and 2028. At our stand, visitors can explore a scaled railcar model and learn more about the planning, precision and expertise behind the move. On Tuesday 16 June, Axel Van Pul, Regional Head of Project Cargo – Europe & Mediterranean, will join a panel discussion on fleet capacity across the breakbulk and project cargo industry.
