Happy 25th Birthday 🍰 , dear "Arbeitskreis Krisenkommunikation/Issues Management" (aka AK KIM) of Deutsche Public Relations Gesellschaft e. V. (DPRG). In 2001, the DPRG reasoned that PR professionals in the US are ahead of the curve on this matter, that it is, however, "underrepresented in the German PR practice, and there is an urgent need to catch up." The founding fathers were Frank Roselieb, Stephan Becker-Sonnenschein and Klaus-Peter Johanssen and the first meeting took place on 15 March 2001. 🥂🥂 Today, it's my pleasure and honor to co-lead the working group together with Norbert Minwegen and Torsten Rössing into the 26th year and many more to come.
