A promising mRNA cancer therapy is currently in Phase 3 trials. So far, it has shown very good results in the treatment of high-risk melanoma. An initial smaller study was conducted with 157 participants. In this Phase 2 study, the combination of a personalized mRNA therapy and immunotherapy reduced the risk of recurrence or death by 49 percent during the five-year follow-up period compared to immunotherapy alone (according to a joint statement by Moderna and Merck). Moderna and Merck are currently building on that by conducting several Phase 3 trials with over 1,000 participants. Such studies require patients to generate evidence. On the other hand, the study is often the only way for those affected to gain access to a new treatment like this today. The number of study participants is a valid start, but the need is significantly greater. The faster participants are found, the faster action can be taken. Through our software, MPIRIQ connects studies with suitable participants. This noticeably accelerates recruitment, provides research with a broader data foundation, and creates access for patients. You can find out more about the new therapy in the great articles from Süddeutsche Zeitung and Tagesschau (link below). Time is Health. #Oncology #ClinicalTrials #HealthcareResearch #DigitalHealth
