Enforcement is delivering real impact. Efforts to disrupt illegal sites and services are benefiting legal streaming platforms in Indonesia. “It impacts local broadcasters, it impacts local platforms, regional rights holders, and sports partners,” said Larissa Knapp, Chief Content Protection Officer at the Motion Picture Association and Head of the Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment in her interview with Kompas.com. These efforts are driven in part by the Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment, which continues to collaborate with partners, including law enforcement in Indonesia and around the Asia-Pacific, to dismantle illegal ecosystems that harm producers and the wider industry. As access to illegal services is disrupted, more users are turning to legitimate platforms, supporting the broader content ecosystem.
