Maria's work demonstrates how engineering, data, and technology can come together to address real world challenges.   Maria Giuseppina Limongelli, Associate Professor “I am Professor of seismic and structural engineering at Politecnico di Milano. My research deals with the use of Structural Health monitoring approaches to support decisions for critical infrastructure management. This is the expertize I offer to MOVEO on a task on emergency management.”   What is it that made you enter your field of work? “The idea of using advanced sensing methods to improve safety and optimize infrastructure management fascinated me. I also enjoy the interdisciplinary nature of the work, which sits at the intersection of civil engineering, data science, and management optimization.”
