We’re proud to announce a $30,000 Mekong ClubGRANTS investment supporting Youth Off The Streets Duke of Edinburgh Program for 22 students from the Fairfield LGA. Youth Off The Streets provides trauma‑informed, holistic education to young people experiencing or at risk of homelessness and complex disadvantage. The Duke of Edinburgh Award aligns closely with their model, offering opportunities in volunteering, physical activity, skill development and outdoor challenges, including a four‑night camp on Lady Musgrave Island and an 80km hike near Uluru. This funding enables students who would not normally have access to such experiences to build confidence, leadership, resilience and stronger pathways into education, employment and community participation. We’re proud to help empower young people towards a more positive and successful future.
