Cerebral Palsy Alliance – CPA Allambie Heights Centre received $18,000 in ClubGRANTS funding from Harbord Diggers to support early response intervention therapy for babies at risk of cerebral palsy across Sydney’s Northern Beaches. The Early Response Therapy for Babies at Risk of Cerebral Palsy Program fast‑tracks access to time‑critical, evidence‑based therapy for infants aged 0–2, well before diagnosis and NDIS eligibility, ensuring families are supported during a crucial period of their baby’s brain development. Delivered at no cost to families, the program provides: ▪️Access to multidisciplinary therapy from physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and speech pathologists ▪️Individualised, family-led therapy plans tailored to each child ▪️Guidance for families navigating the NDIS Early Childhood Approach pathway ▪️Support for parental wellbeing during a challenging and uncertain time With cerebral palsy affecting 1 in 700 Australian babies, and many missing early therapy, this locally delivered support helps close a critical gap in care. Proudly supported by Harbord Diggers through ClubGRANTS, strengthening early outcomes for babies and families in our community.
