🚀 Excited to share a meaningful milestone in my research journey ! Our paper “Influence of aspect ratio on the stability of rotating microchannel flows with superhydrophobic walls," with Suman, Gopal Shit, and Klaus Stefan Drese, has been published in the prestigious Journal of Fluid Mechanics. Read the full paper here: Journal of Fluid Mechanics | Cambridge Core - https://bit.ly/4cTyFLW This work provides new mathematical insights into the stability of rotating microchannel flows, with applications in microfluidic systems, lab-on-chip devices, and biomedical instruments. 📖 Early in my Ph.D., my first submission to JFM was rejected. I was working under the guidance of Prof. A. S. Gupta (Bhatnagar Awardee, 1972), a pioneer of flow stability in India who worked with G.K. Batchelor at Cambridge University. After years of persistence, it is deeply satisfying to see my work finally published in this journal — this time with my Ph.D. scholar Suman, in collaboration with Gopal Chandra Shit and Klaus Stefan Drese. 🔬 At GITAM Deemed University Hyderabad, I am extending this research under my Anusandhan National Research Foundation ( ANRF) Core Grant ( on going project 2025-2028), exploring curved microchannel flows and stability using data-driven approaches such as neural-network-based models. 💡 We have established a Computational Research Lab and welcome: • 🤝 Research collaborations • 🎓 Ph.D. students (CSIR/UGC-JRF supported) • 🧑‍🔬 Postdoctoral researchers • 📊 Internship: Students interested in mathematics, fluid dynamics, and data-driven solutions (AI-based algorithms) for engineering problems. ✨ This journey reflects the power of perseverance and the beauty of mathematics in solving real engineering problems. Looking forward to building more bridges between theory and technology. 💥 Recent Publications (with Quartile, SCI, IF) 1. J. Fluid Mech. 1026 (2026). SCI, Q1, IF=3.9 2. Phys.
