Two disciplines, one material. At Mosa, designer José Maase and material engineer Peter Delahaije have been working side by side for more than two decades, each approaching ceramic from a different perspective, shaping it into one result. This collaboration is also the foundation of Solids. Instead of focusing on the individual tile, Solids is designed as a continuous floor surface, with tonal gradations spread across tiles to create movement across space. From sketch to production, ideas move between design and development, balancing spatial intent with technical precision. A tightly controlled process, with just enough room for the material to behave naturally, giving Solids its subtle variation and depth.
