Late last month, students completed the New Venture Project, the capstone course for the Certificate in Entrepreneurship. After spending two months working on a business idea with team members and an entrepreneur-in-residence, students got the chance to pitch their businesses to entrepreneurs and receive real feedback on how to move forward. The New Venture Project had existed at Ivey since 2003, but this was the first time that students at Western were able to complete the course - thanks to the Certificate in Entrepreneurship. Over the past two decades, this course has helped create real businesses like SAXX Underwear, Marlow, Apricotton, ZENERGY, and Brust Beverage Company, Ltd. - to name a few! If you are interested in starting your entrepreneurship journey at Western, sign up for the Certificate in Entrepreneurship and get access to courses, exclusive opportunities, and real-life experiences to launch your career. Applications for the Certificate close on April 8th. https://lnkd.in/dtUhYHcE
