Bob Deng, Sifan Wang, and Jack Wang are rethinking something most of us use everyday: the backpack. As co-founders of TrekFlex, they’ve built a modular system designed to adapt to the way people actually live. Instead of juggling separate bags for work, the gym, and travel, TrekFlex offers a single base pack with interchangeable modules that can shift with your day. What started as a simple frustration, carrying multiple bags or compromising with one that doesn’t quite work, turned into an opportunity to design a more flexible solution. Through their time at the Western Accelerator, the team has focused on turning that idea into a tangible product, from early prototyping to preparing for launch.
