A very special night on Friday getting all dressed up and celebrating the world of PR in Aotearoa at the PRINZ - Public Relations Institute of New Zealand Awards. The highlight for me was receiving my APR certificate - another very nice piece of paper to add to the collection, the culmination of some pretty gnarly months of study and application last year. A lot of hard work went into this accreditation and it's nice to have it acknowledged. Thanks to my mentor Carley Young, APR and to all of the friends, family and colleagues who helped along the way, and a massive congratulations to my fellow graduates. A close second on the highlights front had to be walking across the stage with my fellow One Plus One Communications colleagues Kelly Bennett, Magenta Boyd and Emily Ding to receive our Silver Award for PR Consultancy of the Year (large)! This agency is a very special place to work and I'm so proud of what we've achieved already and excited for all of the things in the pipeline. It was also fantastic to be there to support the amazing Emily Ding, who was nominated for Young Practitioner of the Year. Em's a powerhouse and absolutely deserves the recognition so early on in her career. There were some fantastic people, organisations and pieces of work highlighted across the evening and it was great to reconnect with old friends, colleagues and peers. #prinz #publicrelations #APR #accreditationinpublicrelations
