It's the last day of #PrideMonth and I've toyed with the idea of saying something on this platform for the last month. I'm not quite sure what to say, but I feel like it would be a disservice to not say something. I guess it's perhaps timely to remind everyone that sometimes it's hard to bring your whole self to work or to share your whole self on the professional Facebook of the internet, especially when that whole self involves being part of a "minority" group that faces discrimination. I'm glad that I'm in a workplace (shoutout to One Plus One Communications) and surrounded by people where I can be myself and show up to work and know I'll only be judged on the quality of my work outputs and my banter. I'm also very glad that I have a wonderfully supportive partner who always holds space for me to show up as I am. So please be kind, please be respectful, and let's create a world where everyone can bring their whole self everywhere, every day. Happy Pride 🌈 #pridemonth2023
