February 11 marks International Day for Women and Girls in Science! This year we spoke to Achini Makuloluwa and Roni Maimon Mor, research and clinical staff members at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London and UCL Institute of Ophthalmology who are funded by Moorfields Eye Charity. They each shared their research focuses, what inspired them to pursue a career in science and words of encouragement for women and girls who aspire to become scientists. With each year, more progress is made to make science, research and healthcare a much more inclusive space.
