It’s #NationalPetDay on today’s #MuseumFromHome Mel DiGiacomo lives with a camera in hand, always ready to capture the subtle moments and dynamic events of life. As he says, “As long as the light is right, I will take a picture.” Both a street photographer and a photojournalist, he is known for his work with Newsweek and various sports journals. In the summer of 1980, DiGiacomo made the short drive from his home to Jersey City and began photographing both people and animals enjoying their free time and warm weather.
