Wow! I’m so thrilled and humbled to be recognized as "Canada's Top 20 Women in Cybersecurity" for 2021!   I made the switch from Engineering to Cybersecurity only 5 years ago (with 3 children under the age 5 at the time). The switch was scary but exciting and I never realized the extent of impact I could make in only 5 year - from securing Canada's telecom networks, to securing and modernizing Canada's critical payment infrastructure! The impact that I get to make every day in the lives of Canadians (which they are not even aware of) is the biggest reward.
