Recently, we had the exceptional honour of hosting Sir John A Manzoni, Chairman of Diageo, at our Budapest office, marking a truly remarkable two-day visit. During his stay, John engaged with colleagues across various functions. The visit provided an invaluable opportunity to showcase the collective efforts contributing to Diageo’s growth ambitions while allowing John to experience our culture, engagement, the spirit of the Budapest office. The discussions not only celebrated our accomplishments but also explored opportunities for future growth and development. 📈 In the evenings, we had the pleasure of introducing John to some of our esteemed partners Sandor Zwack and iconic venues (Múzsa Bar, Elysian, High Note SkyBar).🥂 John acknowledged our site as one of Diageo’s strongest hubs, home to exceptionally skilled finance professionals, characterized by rich cultural diversity, dynamism, and innovation and he was impressed by the spirit and sense of our team. ✨ We are very grateful that we had the opportunity of hosting John. His engaging, approachable style, recognising our contribution and his belief in our colleagues’ potential is an immense inspiration. We look forward to welcoming him back to Budapest in the future. A huge appreciation to all my colleagues, who have made our Chairman's visit memorable. 👏 Special thanks to to our fantastic CR team - Szabina Somogyváry-Pelcz, Boglárka Varga, Veronika Jancsó - and the Budapest Leadership team: Mónika Sádt, FCCA, Diana Lukacs Karpati, Kavita Hans, Gabriella Harkai-Jozsa, Judit Tóth, Istvan Szabo, Zoltán Hangodi, Dorothea K., Vivien Kánvási, Nandor Szakolczai, Richard Nagy, Akos Nagy, Rajesh Rajan, Gergely Abraham, Anikó Mahler, Irina Shalaeva ACMA, CGMA, Tim Hawkins, Andras Varkonyi, Erkan Elçin.
