I’m delighted to share that my book chapter, “Social Innovation Competencies: Bridging the Gap Between Theory and Practice”, has been published in the Handbook of Teaching and Learning in Social Innovation 😀 😍 The chapter ➡️ analyzes the theoretical foundations that underpin #socialinnovation #competencies and their conceptual evolution ➡️ distinguishes and discusses an instrumental approach rooted in entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship theory, and a transformative approach that foregrounds systemic change, ethics, governance, power dynamics, and long-term societal impact ➡️ presents an empirical analysis of 19 social innovation competency frameworks and models in Higher Education 💜 This publication is part of my ongoing research on social innovation, participatory processes, governance, and sociotechnical transitions at VIU - Universidad Internacional de Valencia.
