I don’t usually post on LinkedIn, but this fall I’m taking on something I never thought I would: running my first marathon! Having barely run before this year, training for 26.2 has been the biggest physical challenge I've taken on - but I'm not just running for myself. I’m running in support of Sandy Hook Promise (SHP), where I'm also a member of the Emerging Leaders Council. SHP's programs help students and communities recognize warning signs and prevent gun violence before it happens. This work has already saved countless lives and in light of recent events it’s needed now more than ever.
