Erleichterte endoskopische Bandscheiben-Operation mittels UBE-Technik (Unilateral Biportal Endoscopy) im St. Vinzenz Krankenhaus Düsseldorf. A 46-year-old female patient, weighing 125 kg with a BMI of 42.4, presented with severe right-sided L5 radiculopathy, associated sensorimotor deficits, and a marked foot drop due to an L4–L5 lumbar disc herniation. She underwent a unilateral biportal endoscopic (UBE) sequestrectomy at the L4–L5 level. Postoperatively, the patient experienced complete resolution of her radicular pain and regained full strength in foot dorsiflexion, with complete recovery of the preoperative motor deficit.
