Thrilled to share our latest research published in IET Generation, Transmission & Distribution! As cyber-attacks on power grids have surged by 60%, ensuring the integrity of protection layers is critical. Our paper introduces a hybrid AE–GAN–SVM framework designed to detect False Data Injection (FDI) attacks targeting smart grid overcurrent relays. Key Highlights: 🔹 Hybrid Intelligence: Leverages GANs to overcome data scarcity and Autoencoders for robust feature extraction. 🔹 High Accuracy: Achieved 99.17% detection accuracy across various fault scenarios on the IEEE 14-bus system. 🔹 Dual Monitoring: Jointly monitors both measurement and relay setting domains for comprehensive security.
