𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫, 𝐈 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐲 12-𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐒𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐚𝐭 𝐃𝐨𝐣𝐨, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐲 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲! I worked in the 𝐂𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐞, where our mission was to deliver the frameworks, infrastructure, and tools to ensure that customers not only discover and seamlessly onboard onto Dojo’s products but also allow both Dojo and the customers to mutually benefit. This experience allowed me to leverage my technical skills to solve business needs while also developing a customer-first mindset—ensuring the systems we built were optimized for the best possible use-case for our customers. Being 𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫-𝐨𝐛𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 is something Dojo deeply ingrained in us. During my time, I found a home in the Marketplace Squad, led by Isaac, where I collaborated on various projects and had the opportunity to grow alongside an incredibly talented team. I significantly deepened my expertise in full-stack software engineering, mastering the development of end-to-end enterprise systems with 𝐂# .𝐍𝐄𝐓, 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐐𝐋, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐭. A special thanks to Caleb, Hanz and the entire team for their guidance throughout this journey. Beyond improving my technical skills, I had the opportunity to attend various intern sessions, gaining insights into different parts of the business—from Product Management to Data to Risk. Meeting the founders, George and Jan, as well as the SVPs of Dojo, was truly uplifting and inspiring, and I walked away with many valuable insights. As I return to Imperial College for my penultimate year in Computer Science, I carry with me not only the technical skills I developed at Dojo but also invaluable lessons and inspiration drawn from my time here.
